More about the course

What will I study

Sport is enjoyed by many people all over the world, whether it’s playing, training, coaching, or supporting. But there is so much more to it than that. This course gives you the opportunity to work within the sector and to enjoy sport every day of your working career. The BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Sport is equivalent to one A Level and can be taken alongside two other A Level courses. This means you can choose to study three different subjects whereas with the BTEC Extended Diploma you would study one subject.

Completing the BTEC Extended Certificate in Sport will give you a solid foundation in the sector, enabling you to develop essential skills required for gaining employment, securing career progression, or progressing to further qualifications and training.
