EXPERT TEACHING FOR ASPIRING STUDENTS
Don’t miss the opportunity to take part in our varied taster programme and discover what A Levels at KGV can offer you. Running from October to April in conjunction with our partner high schools, the programme is targeted at students from years 9, 10 and 11. You’ll need to book your place through your school but make sure you book early as places will fill up quickly!Your school careers team have all the details
Science students will experience our industry-standard labs, kitted out with all of the equipment you will need for all of those exciting experiments.
Our College Library offers a great space for you to extend your subject knowledge through independent study. Students can access thousands of resources through the library catalogue and online subscriptions.
REFECTORY & COFFEE SHOP
Relax and refuel in our spacious College refectory and coffee shop with comfortable seating and affordable meals and snacks.
For our sports enthusiasts we have our brand-new multi-use games area or MUGA. This fantastic pitch is suitable for playing the majority of sports in all weathers.
FITNESS SUITE & SPORTS HALL
During their time at College students have access to a fully-equipped Fitness Suite. Open during term time the facility is free for students to enjoy. We’ve also recently refurbished the changing rooms in the Sports Hall.
Our art workshops and studio spaces are found on the upper floor of the Creative Arts Building equipped with everything our A Level Fine Art and Textiles students need for inspiration and creativity.
PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA STUDIOS
Upstairs in the Creative Arts building you’ll find our dark room and studio; giving students studying photography and filmmaking advanced equipment to support their learning.

Our school liaison team offers a number of in-school or at College activities including:

CAN I DO A TOUR OF THE COLLEGE?
We offer Campus Tours for potential students, teachers and parents. Contact our school liaison team to book an appointment.
DO I NEED TO BOOK A PLACE AT AN OPEN EVENING?
You don’t need to book a place to visit us at one of our open events. Our open evenings run from 5.00pm-8.00pm on Tuesday 15 October and Wednesday 13 November at our campus on Scarisbrick New Road, Southport.
CAN I BOOK A TASTER SESSION/DAY MYSELF OR DO I NEED TO DO THIS THROUGH MY SCHOOL?
You can book onto one of our taster events yourself, however, some do take place during the school so we would ask that you get permission from your school before attending. To discuss taster options please contact our schools liaison team.
