Olivia's Oxford Success!

Congratulations to 2nd year student Olivia, who has just been offered a place at Oxford University to study English Language and Literature.

Olivia is a former Stanley High School student, who is currently studying A Level’s in History, Classical Civilisation and English Literature with us. This is brilliant news Olivia, we are so proud of you!

MP Damien Moore visits KGV in Colleges week

MP Damien Moore visits King George V College to show his support as colleges call for equality in their funding when compared with other parts of the education sector.

Rugby is Back at KGV

We are delighted to have partnered with Southport Rugby Club to put Rugby firmly back on the agenda at KGV. Many of our students have played rugby competitively at school and are keen to keep this up when they join the college, in addition to their academic programme.

Recent Trips & Visits

Our students recently went on a number of trips and visits including the Northern College of Music, Juniper Press at the Bluecoat and the Senior Maths Challenge.

KGV Alumni Achieves Cambridge Success

Many congratulations to Dan Howard who has recently graduated from Churchill College, University of Cambridge, with a BA Hons Degree in Medicine. This is a truly marvellous achievement and a testament to all the hard work he has put in over the years.
