Film Studies not only focuses on filmmaking but the context in which these films were made, particularly in terms of their historical and societal contexts. During the Film Studies course you will deconstruct and analyse a wide variety of films, including films such as Pulp Fiction, Casablanca, City of God and Shaun of the Dead.

Your Challenge

To prepare for this absolutely brilliant course, we'd like you to become a bit of a film guru. Use the summer break to watch as many different films as you possibly can! The IMDB top 250 is a great place to start. Watching a film that is not in English is also great preparation.
