Get a great story under your belt
Before starting with us in September, we'd love you to get at least one great story added to your collection. Try and get your hands on your very own copy of The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood. You could pick up a copy at retailers such as Waterstones, an online book shop or maybe the best place to look is in a second-hand book shop where you'll stumble across other literary gems that you can add too!
We'd also love for you to watch this fascinating, short Ted Talk by filmmaker Andrew Stanton ("Toy Story," "WALL-E"):

Stories are just stories, right? Not really. They are also incredibly powerful - and can both reduce prejudice, and help persuade. The power of storytelling has such influence and can shape our minds.
