Prepare to become an entrepreneur

Studying A level Business allows you to investigate, analyse, debate and discuss current business developments and situations, whilst developing your research and IT skills. Over two years, you will examine existing business behaviour, linked to four key themes:

• Theme 1 relates to Marketing And People
• Theme 2 the focus is on Managing Business Activities
• Theme 3 considers Business Decisions and Strategy
• Theme 4 is about Global Business.

Our Business department prides itself on providing an exciting and rewarding experience. We achieve this because of our experience, both in teaching and in industry. Having staff who have all worked in business environments prior to moving into teaching enables us to apply real-life examples to the theory we have looked at.

Where restrictions and guidance allows, we also include opportunities for learning outside the classroom with trips and guest speakers as well as the chance to compete in national competitions.
