Our students have access to multimillion pound state of the art facilities including specialist teaching rooms, several food outlets and comfortable social spaces offering an ideal environment for both study and relaxation.

In summer 2015, KGV opened the doors of our new £4million Creative Arts Building. The new building offers bespoke facilities for the Creative Arts subjects: Art & Design (Fine Art, Textiles and Photography), Drama and Theatre, Film Studies, Media Studies, Music and Music Technology.

Facilities include: a grand performance theatre with retractable seating accommodating up to 120 people, four custom-made art studios, a recording studio and several rehearsal rooms, and new Film and Media studios. In addition, the building accommodates a number of IT suites and several large general teaching spaces, plus the performance theatre also doubles as a lecture space, ensuring that all students will benefit from the new facilities.

Our Learning Centre (LC) offers an impressive workspace for your independent study. The LC, which recently underwent a £1.2 million facelift, houses an extensive collection of online and paper resources, in addition to over 100 computer stations and both private and social study rooms. A hive of activity, this is the ideal place for you to get ahead with homework, coursework or extra reading.

The KGV Refectory is a comfortable social space for you to relax and refuel. Our onsite facilities include a hot food counter, deli, salad bar and college shop. You can pick up a slice of pizza, grab a snack on the go or indulge in an early morning caffeine kick at our coffee bar!

Students have access to a fully equipped Fitness Suite, which is open during term time. This facility is free for staff and students to enjoy.
