At King George V College we offer student yoga for you to get involved in. In the spirit of Mindfulness, our lunchtime class helps to develop the strength and flexibility of the body whilst also relaxing the mind. Our 30 minute class focuses on mindful practices incorporating breathing techniques, postures, and relaxation all in a tranquil setting. Studies have shown yoga to reduce anxiety, depression, and low moods while increasing strength, and concentration levels. Students have found our Yoga class particularly helpful in the run up to exam and deadline season, saying that it has helped them feel less stressed.
