King George V College
ELECTRONIC MUSIC MAKING

Are you interested in creating your own dance music, ambient track, film score or just always wanted to have a go at making some music?

At King George V College’s Electronic Music Making Enrichment you will be taught the basics of using Ableton Live (an industry standard Digital Audio Workstation) used by artists like ColdCut, Daft Punk, Hotchip, Nine Inch Nails and Deadmau5.

You will explore how to use midi, audio, software instruments, effects, composition, mixing and mastering and then create your own piece of electronic music.

Each session will have a short input followed by “hands on” music making.  The maximum size is limited to 20 places due to computer availability.  The course will run once a week.  No musical knowledge is required.
