Our students learn beyond the classroom; applying the knowledge they have gained at KGV to real life examples across the world.

ART & DESIGN - PARIS

Our artists had the opportunity to draw, sketch and photograph famous landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and the Champs-Élysées.

BUSINESS STUDIES – LONDON

Highlights of this 3 day trip included: exploring branding and strategy at Wimbledon, learning the importance of culture in marketing at an Emirates Aviation workshop and touring the Olympic Park.

GEOGRAPHY - ICELAND

Geographers studied volcanic craters and geysers – hot springs that shoot out water and steam up to 100 degrees Celsius!

GEOLOGY – SCOTLAND

Geology students are invited to attend an annual field trip to the Isle of Arran. During this week long visit, students study real life fossils across the rocky coast.

MEDIA & FILM– LONDON

Students toured the Warner Brothers’ Harry Potter Experience, made a radio play at BC Broadcasting House and visited the country’s busiest art-house cinema, Curzon Soho.

PHYSICS & ELECTRONICS – SWITZERLAND

Staff & Students visited CERN – a world known physics research organisation that carries out ground breaking research into Particle Physics.

PSYCHOLOGY & SOCIOLOGY – AUSTRIA

In February 2016, students will further their learning at the Sigmund Freud Museum and enjoy a guided Waling Tour of Vienna.

WORLD CHALLENGE - THAILAND

In July 2015, 22 KGV Students embarked on a World Challenge Expedition to Thailand. During the two week expedition, students explored the sights of Bangkok, trekked through Khao Yai National Park and renovated a playground in a School in Surin.
